Abrahim Bility

Mr. Bility is a respected community leader and seasoned statesman within the Liberian Mandingo diaspora. With over two decades of dedicated service, advocacy, and organizational leadership, he has consistently worked towards uplifting and unifying the Liberian Mandingo community at local, state, and national levels.

Currently, he serves as the President of the Washington DC Liberia Mandingo Association (WALIMA). In this role, he leads programs focused on cultural preservation, youth development, education, and community solidarity. Under his leadership, WALIMA has expanded its reach and enhanced support systems for families, immigrants, and underrepresented communities in the metropolitan area.

Mr. Bility’s commitment to service is further demonstrated through his extensive tenure with the Federation of Liberian Mandingo Associations in the USA (FELMAUSA). His previous leadership roles include Secretary General of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the National Convention, Chairman of the Membership Committee, Vice President for Operations, and Acting President. In each of these capacities, he has played a crucial role in promoting accountability, transparency, and unity among FELMAUSA’s diverse member associations.

Additionally, he served as Secretary General of the Wisconsin Mandingo Association (WIMAM), where he helped build strong connections between local Mandingo communities and national initiatives.

Grounded in values of service, integrity, and cultural pride, Mr. Bility continues to be a driving force behind initiatives that empower youth, foster education, and expand healthcare access both in the United States and Liberia. His strategic vision, combined with his ability to mobilize people and resources, positions him as a pillar of leadership within the Liberian diaspora.

Mr. Bility remains focused on creating sustainable solutions for the next generation, ensuring that tradition, opportunity, and empowerment are passed forward.
